So glad Amy Mitchell is back!! Cut and color is back to it's sassy self. Amy's professionalism and skills set is by far the best I have seen as well as her attention to detail and ability to translate what a client tells her into reality. Simply the best!

Downtown girl goes to Metry!. I live in the Marigny, but now that I work part-time in Metairie, it got hard to get to my hairdresser uptown-and there I was across the street from Kenneth's. I was worried I would look like a Metairie blonde, but Amy did a wonderful job with my haircut, very meticulous, and later made my highlights brighter yet subtle. I have short hair and am pretty particular, so i was pleasantly surprised. Kenneth's affords a great experience all around and I'm very happy!
Dana is AMAZING!!!!!. Dana did my wedding hair, and she did the best job ever!!! I went for a trial during Jazzfest, since I live out of state and was in town for that, and my curls held up then, so I knew I'd be good to go for the wedding in Sept. I am so pleased with Dana- she is professional and totally helped me feel calm on my big day. The front desk is awesome too- Mary Beth even contacted me to get exact details for my hairstyle. Then, I called the day before, taking my chances, to get my 2 friends in, and they fit them in with no problem. Love this place!!! Thank you to Dana and Kenneth's crew!
Amy is the Best!!!!!. Amy is the BEST!!!! She does wonders with my straight hair. She takes extra time to make everything right. The entire staff is helpful and make you feel comfortable.
From Dark Brown to Blonde.
I am a natural Brunette and decided to change my hair to blonde because of my age. I have received many compliments on my new blonde hair thanks to Kelly. She takes her time and does exactly what you want. I am so happy with her work.

Kenneth's is a great experience!. I have been to Kenneth's on and off for a few years. The first impression, the front desk ladies, could not be better! They are the best example of customer service I have seen in decades! I had called for a "random" appointment a few years ago and was lucky enough to get Amy. She is very sweet, a great stylist and she works quickly, which I need. I highly recommend Kenneth's and Amy.
Kenneth's is the BEST!!!. I have been getting my hair cut and styled at Kenneth's for 13 years and have been completely satisfied. The staff is professional, competent and caring. After Katrina, we moved out of state only to experience lots of bad food and lots of bad hair days!! We moved back to NOLA recently and I was back at Kenneth's within a week. It's great to be back home with my Kenneth's family!
Amy Mitchell. I almost hate to share my great experiences because I don't want Amy to ever be so booked she can't fit me in! :) BUT, with the being said, I believe it's important to give where credit is due. Amy is an incredible hair stylist. For those who know me, know that, without formal training, I can cut hair, dye, perm, etc. my hair & others - so, that makes me one of the worse type of hair salon clients, since I am very picky! Amy took the time to ask me what I wanted, discussed my hair type, recommended a style based on what I wanted, along with her recommendations. I must admit, my skepticism diminished with every question she asked. Needless to say, I left with a style that made me feel great, enhanced my facial features for a mid-fifties female and gave my thin hair a thicker appearance, plus the colic no longer parted! I am indeed a happy, satisfied customer and will recommend Amy to anyone, any age, for any style. I just left Kenneth's and was pleased to see this venue where I could share my thoughts with the public. Amy Mitchell.....great hair stylist.....!
Amy at Kenneth's. I've been going to Amy for several years now and I think she is the best hair dresser. I am often complimented on how great my color/highlights look, thanks to Amy. Everyone I have referred to Amy thinks she is fantastic as well. Her professionalism and bright personality are an added bonus. I am truly a fan!
