Metairie >Metairie Cleaners
best customer service. best customer service in the new orleans area, a little high on prices but well worth it.... and they remove stains no one else gets out. i would highly recommend metairie cleaners to anyone with a wardrobe you want to last. they do not wear out your garments!
Best Dry Cleaner in Greater NOLA.
After experiencing less than positive cleaning results at other area dry cleaners, I tried Metairie Cleaners. A trusted friend at a ladies clothing boutique recommended them to me.
I have been 4 times now, and will never go any place else! The clothing is expertly cleaned, always ready when promised. It's clear that my most delicate items, such as silk, cahmere and wool items receive extra care. Each team member is friendly and knowledgable, providing prompt service also - I could not ask for more! Fortunately, the Old Metairie location is extremely convenient for me, but would be worth the drive if not!
I highly recommend Metairie Cleaners for all your textile cleaning needs. The management is awesome- leading by example.

Beware: Ruiner of clothes and comforters.
I posted this on Yelp, too. I think it's important that people hear about the bad experience I had so they don't fall victim to the same mistakes I made.
Unfortunately, I went against my instincts when I took my brand new comforter to Metairie Cleaners. My roomie had a bunch of sweaters ruined by them last season, but I went anyway because they were close to where I lived. When I got my comforter back, it smelled like fish and the detailing had been completely dissolved. There was also a tear in one of the corners.
The manager wasn't there at the time, so they took down my information and told me that she'd call. Her name is Brenda. She finally called early afternoon the next day and was very defensive on the phone.
She lectured me about the fact that she'd been in the dry cleaning business for 20 years and she knew that my comforter wasn't their fault. She told me, reluctantly, that they'd send it away for analysis in new Jersey but that it would tie up my comforter for three weeks.
Here it is, two months later and still nothing.
I would seriously reconsider using Metairie Cleaners for your dry cleaning needs. They seem to be lacking on the professionalism and customer service fronts.
