Although one of many traditional seafood joints in New Orleans, this restaurant stands out because of its affordable prices and extensive menu. They offer all the usual recipes spiced to perfection such as crawfish etoufee and softshell crab, but also whip up a few original dishes of their own. Their immensely popular "One-Handed Poboy" for instance is a spin on the classic jumbo sandwich, stuffing the usual fresh sauces and seafood into a no-mess French bread wrap. They offer all their meals in a casual family-friendly atmosphere, complete with a kids' menu that's perfect for any picky eater.

Anytime I get a craving for Cajun, I come here - even if I'm not passing through Metairie. Their food is always fresh and tastes so good. The hardest decision to make is whether to get a cheeseburger or a shrimp one-handed poboy. Definitely try it out - you won't be disappointed!
Pros: Cheapest but most delicious seafood and burgers you'll find
Cons: Drive-thru is cool but takes too long
