Cool Poboys & Soft serve Ice Cream!. Lots of choices on Poboys , some have interesting twists with fried green tomatoes and cabbage, etc.- We like to try a different one each visit and taste each others! The kids love the free ice cream :)

Who thinks they can have fresh seafood in 5 min???. Where else can you get great seafood poor-boys of the same quality every time? People seem confused because the layout is fast food however every cajun knows how long it takes to battter and fry seafood. And that BBQ shrimp in the hollow nose french bread Wow!!!

18 minutes for a Chicken Sandwich?!!?! FAST-CASUAL THIS IS NOT!. So I pull into he drive-through at the Elmwood location today. No one in front of me, no one waiting at the window. I order a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, no tomato. My order was taken at 11:29 according to the receipt. At 11:47 I drive away from the window. I get to work and discover there is no ranch dressing on my sandwich. Just a messy pile of blue cheese crumbles and veggies, with nothing to moisten the sandwich up, no ketchup for the fries. EIGHTEEN minutes for a chicken sandwich, and it isn't even prepared correctly! Ten bucks to them for an 18 minute wait and a bad lunch. I wasn't even treated nicely, or an apology for the wait, or anything by the lady at the window. She obviously couldn't be troubled to see if I wanted ketchup for my fries, or my sandwich to be prepared correctly, or try to make me feel better about the outrageous wait. Just a window slammed in my face. Thanks a lot. I won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone anytime soon, and I will probably NEVER be back. There were at least three cars behind me, they had a ridiculous wait as well, I hope they at least had their food done the way it was described on the menu board. Mine wasn't.

This local favorite since 1985 specializes in half-pound hamburgers and classic seafood recipes, all served in a casual atmosphere.. In Short
Although one of many traditional seafood joints in New Orleans, this restaurant stands out because of its affordable prices and extensive menu. They offer all the usual recipes spiced to perfection such as crawfish etoufee and softshell crab, but also whip up a few original dishes of their own. Their immensely popular "One-Handed Poboy" for instance is a spin on the classic jumbo sandwich, stuffing the usual fresh sauces and seafood into a no-mess French bread wrap. They offer all their meals in a casual family-friendly atmosphere, complete with a kids' menu that's perfect for any picky eater.
