Ethan Allen Scam.
Nothing has changed from here to Ethan Allen.
This doesn't surprise me. I had the same experience with Michael Kirschman Ethan Allen of New Orleans. This man is greedy and could care less about customer service. Don't buy from him unless you want to be taken advantage of. Don't believe just me.. Google him...sleep solutions, Kirschman, Ethan Allen, rooms to go... Read his reviews..Pretty sad. Just wished I would have read about him before he screwed me.

Scam. They don't even care about their employees let alone customers. Avoid this store like it is Ebola. Only shop here if you want to feed the greed.
Worst example of a business in struggling new orleans! AVOID THEM, AND ROOMS TO GO.
Kirschman's took $5000 of our money to rebuild our upstairs after our ceilings collapsed from Katrina. However, when our $3000 bedroom was finally ready for delivery after 6 weeks of waiting, they delivered damaged merchandise. They will not return phone calls, ignore our written requests for customer service and do not plan on doing anything for us. We spent over $16,000 with this store over the past 24 months, and this is how they leave us.
The will not give out customer service rep names because they are all on notice that this is a sham of a business at this point. Total waste of your money.
Good Riddance! Michael Kirschman and the rest of the money grubbers at this store are a disgrace to New Orleans. 80+ years the Kirschman family worked to build a reputation, only to destroy it all in 12 months. What a repulsive display of business acumen.
Avoid this store, and any of their Kirschmaniac B.S. altogether. Michael Kirschman took a deal to get money and get out of town - only to screw everyone along the way. Thanks buddy.
If you care to reply Kirschman's - I'd love to hear what you have to say.
A crying shame. My four member family, among thousands of others, survived Hurricane Katrina, though we lost everything. With the help of SBA decided to start over buying a living room suit and bedroom suit from Kirschman's, paying for it in full along with the five year warranty. That was in April of this year. We've not received and/or heard from anyone regarding our money or our furniture since. It disgusts me that they took the only money we had to start over; money we will have to pay back; money we've lost. Noone will help, not the company, not Rooms to Go, not SBA....noone.
The worst customer service. I am really annoyed. Because it is unbelievable that salesmen just wear elegant clothes to sell and show a big smile, but when it is just to try any kind of claim nobody shows smile, nobody wears elegant clothes and salesmen disappear. Customers don't have any good help and any good answer about their claims. For these reasons I won't never buy in Kirschman's again. I bought a sofa there and since two months ago I am waiting for any answer about the bad quality of my sofa's material and until now I have not received any answer.
Completely Inept Customer Service Issue.
Without going into documented events that have transpired in the past 45 days, this store has an absolutely pathetic excuse for a customer service department. My entertainment system came in missing a shelf and having a broken door handle. No one in the local store or corporate office has been able to get these items ordered and replaced.
It is likely, based upon this experience, that I will never shop there again, but if I do, I will not pay for the merchandise until it has been received and inspected!
Buyer Beware. Delivery is never on the date given in the store. The customer service department needs improvement especially at the Westbank store.
This local chain has been furnishing area homes for more than a century..
The Scene
It's hard to believe that company patriarch Morris Kirschman started peddling housewares in New Orleans back in 1914 via horse and buggy. The Kirschman's empire now comprises eight spacious stores throughout southern Louisiana and Mississippi. The 50,000-square-foot Metairie showroom is a maze of rooms that seems to go on forever, but every setup is different, from traditional to contemporary--and, as Thomasville's Hemingway Collection can attest, even a marriage of both.
The Goods
This is the land of bedroom sets, although the store has its fair share of upper-middle-class living room ensembles, accent pieces, televisions and other electronics. Lounge away the day in the recliner room or whet your furniture appetite at one of hundreds of dining displays. Outfit your kitchen with any appliance imaginable. Need more fabric? Kirschman's can custom-design drapes, wall coverings and more.
NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Purchased item - delievered damaged item. Ordered new item from new shipment - also damaged. In dispute with Arnold Kirschman - they have no concept of attempting to satisfay a customer. Store manager and Customer service manager don't know the meaning of the word "service". Very dissatisfied with this store.
