Best Oysters!. Drago's has the BEST char-grilled oyster's I've ever had! That and the lobster makes a wonderful dinner at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it!

THE BEST !!!. Drago's is a family owned restaurant, has been listed in travel magazines, and is generally accredited with having the best oysters anywhere. This is all true. The family is there running the business, and the staff is helpful and prompt.

All these things pale in comparison to the food. I've yet to taste something there which is not truly fantastic. The calimari, the oysters, the lobsters, and the shrimp--the pasta and chicken dishes are fabulous as well. You will LOVE Drago's. Walk, don't run to the place in Metairie. They don't advertise because they don't need to, and there's a good reason for that--people talk when they're happy and full. :) People go once and become regulars.

Heaven on the Half-shell. If you have never experienced the culinary delights of Drago's charbroiled oysters on the half-shell, you are one step farther from heaven than those of us who have. There may be no better way to end the day or impress a client than with a couple dozen oysters and a 25 year old single malt. Everything at Drago's is very good and the service is quietly efficient but the charbroiled oysters are truly a thing of beauty.
