Best Steaks. Crazy Johnny's has The Harbor beat by far for steaks. The service is better, the food is better, the employees are not rude, the place is neater and cleaner, the atmosphere is a lot nicer, the music is at a reasonable level, and you don't have to put up with disco lights. You can even watch a game on one of the many TV's. They even have a big screen.

IS VALUE JUST A MATTER OF MONEY?. CRAZY JOHNNIES DOES DELIVER PROBABLY THE LEAST EXPENSIVE FILET IN TOWN HOWEVER I HAVE FOUND THAT THE FLAVOR (AND FRESHNESS) LEAVE MUCH TO BE DESIRED. MORE THAN ONCE HAS MY STEAK HAD AN ODOR RENDERING IT INEDIBLE. CRAZY POTATOES ALSO WERE IN NO WAY TO BE COMPARED WITH ANY OF THE SIDE ITEMS AT RUTHS. KEEP CATERING TO THE AFTER MIDNIGHT SLIGHTLY DRUNK CROWD AND YOU WILL UNDOUBTEDLY REMAIN IN THE TOP 10.

MELT IN YOUR MOUTH FILET. WE WERE IN NEW ORLEANS FOR THE JAZZ FEST AND DECIDED TO GO TO CRAZY JOHNNIE'S. THE FILET MIGNON WAS SO GOOD WE WENT BACK A SECOND NIGHT. MY WIFE WHO DOESN'T EAT BEEF EVEN HAD THE FILET THE SECOND NIGHT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A LITTLE BIT OF A WAIT BUT THEY HAVE A BAR AREA THAT KEPT US BUSY.

Can't Beat the Price for the Filet!. Excellent filet, the beef tips with shrimp is also very good. Dippin bread is awesome. The garlic mashed potatoes are great too. Not to crazy about the stuffed artichoke or stuffed mushrooms, the stuffing tastes like it was premade at a grocery store or something. Parking isn't so good. It is loud and dark and a little conjested inside, but the good prices and food more than make up for it.

C/J Off Menu Specials @-$10. Excellent Prime Steaks & Schrimp @ -$10. Ask for C/J Off Menu Specials. I love Prime Philly-Schrimp combo w/super buttery/garlic potatoes for under $10. They make a killing on drinks, but wine by glass are large.

As a former resident of area, the same meat truck delivers to C/J and Ruth's Chris Steak House down street. For after dinner mature dancing, try Moe's Challet in Metairie.

fun food. Being visitors to your city, we were taken to Crazy Johnnies by friends. Though very noisy, it did not take away from the excellent steaks we had at the very best price imaginable. The wine was even on special at 2 for 1 and this added to our enjoyment.

Melt in your mouth tender steak. im disabled use a wheelchair. staff was extremely nice

Crazy about Crazy Johnnie's. I love the atmosphere...very casual and relaxed. I enjoy the dim lighting and candles. Occasional waiting, but not unreasonable. Excellent quality at a very reasonable price.

Killer BBQ'd Shrimp. This is our first stop each time we visit "The Big Easy"> The steaks and prime rib are killer, the BBQ"d shrimp are the size of bananas, the spicy buttered sauce makes you want to eat 2 loaves of bread.

Absolutely superb meals every time, very good prices, what a nice find.
