I like this place even better than Cafe du Monde because you don't have to fight the crowd and it's a much more comfortable place to lounge around, drink coffee, and eat beignets. The beignets are never overcooked and they're always fresh. Cafe au lait is delicious, something different here than the usual places you get cafe au lait

For years my friends and family have come here to experience New Orleans' best coffee and beignets. The atmosphere is great and since Morning Call isn't as well known by tourists as Cafe Du Monde is it's always full of locals. Morning Call is and will always be a favorite!

Tucked away in Metairie strip mall, Morning Call is a wonderful way to waste an hour. Good coffee, tasty hot beignets, and good service. It has an old timey feel and is a wonderful place to go with a friend just to chat. Did I mention the delicious beignets??LOL Prices are pretty cheap too.
