excellent customer service!.
I bought a bicycle today and the store employees were great! and knowledgeable of their bikes, they were even nice enough to help me with the bike carrier installation on the back of my car to transport my new bike home to Lafayette,La . I have been coming to this store since I was a child and the fact that the store is still locally owned is awsome! great bicycle selection .Thank you.

Amazing, Honest Service..
I got a mountain bike on craigslist which had some issues, and I took it to Le Jouet's bike service center and they were amazing. The left gear shifter appeared to be broken, and I asked them to replace it but after looking it over they said it could be repaired for a fraction of the cost. What honesty! Plus they finished the service the same day, which would never happen at GNO or one of the busier places. Definitely check here first for a part, if they have it you will get the best price and service, for sure!

This store has been dishing out unique, hard-to-find items since 1968..
The Scene
Nestled amid a lumberyard, an office building and a Sav-a-Center, this store specializes in unique and hard-to-find items. Patronized mostly by dedicated regulars, this is a refreshing 6,600-square-foot getaway from the bigger, less personal chain stores. There are play areas for the kids, the aisles aren't overwhelming, and the staff is ready to help you find what you're looking for.
The Goods
While it doesn't carry more high-tech toys like the robotic dog and the latest PlayStation console, it does have a hearty stock of traditional Mattel, Hasbro and Parker Brothers items. The store also has a separate bike and scooter department, a wide selection of Beanie Babies, kids' motorized vehicles and an array of arts-and-crafts items. There's also products absent from most chain stores like Learning Curve toys, Madame Alexander dolls and Thomas wooden train sets.
