An unpretentious, out-of-the-way alternative to the trendy downtown gay scene.. The Scene
Despite its unusual location in a mini-strip mall (and next door to a topless bar), Angles is one of the few clubs in town where gay men and women mingle in equal proportions. The bar features two pool tables, a handful of arcade games and a modest dance floor. Suburban lesbians and gay men come here to party in a relaxed, carefree atmosphere that's significantly less crazy than the French Quarter.

The Draw
Wednesdays, clubbers dance to retro favorites; Thursdays feature karaoke; and weekends find DJs and live bands providing a mix of rock and dance hits. Don't miss the fabulous drag show on Friday nights ("Illusions"). Ladies' night is Thursday, and guys' night is Wednesday.
