Great Place to Host a Rehearsal Party. We held our Rehearsal Party at Barreca's Restaurant in the Garden Room. The Old Metairie location and the ambiance of the Garden Room set the mood for a beautiful night to remember. David Barreca cooked up a delicious choice of entrees, and the service staff was professional and courteous. Everyone raved about the food and service. I can't thank David and his Staff enough for making our Rehearsal Party a pleasant and enjoyable experience. If you enjoy great food and service, stop by Barreca's. Pat Norman

Real "local food" -- not a national. I grew up in Metairie and while my parents still lived there we always had to visit Barreca's at least once every trip. David Barreca serves as fine a plate of authentic local cruisine as any of the "big name" restaurants.

His "eggplant and shrimp" were tops on my list as well as his "seafood" pasta.

If you only have one place to go -- go there!

Family Dining at Its Best. Nothing says Mama Mia than a plate of Spaghetti or Oysters D'Italia from Barrecas.
