TERRIBLE PRODUCT. My Husband and I decided to go with peracoat beacuse of its claim that we would never agian need to stain our home. After approx 6 years boards are exposed it is peeling off and bubbling. It looked great at first. Contractor is now MIA and the phone calls he did answer was little help. He has moved on from the company and will not help us out in anyway. We paid a lot of money. DON'T PURCHASE THIS STUFF ITS A TERRIBLE PRODUCT. NOW WE DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO TO EVEN GET SOME PRODUCT TO TOUCH UP THE MESS!! WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY THE FACT THAT SOMETHING WILL LAST 50 YEARS. PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN ON MARKET LONG ENOUGH TO MAKE A CLAIM LIKE THAT.

Do not be fooled!. Decided to go with permacoat because of its claim to be the same as the name brand stuff, at a lower cost... 14 months after my job, there is peeling, mold, and mildew and the company has apparently split up so I cannot get service. I have been given the runaround by the people there (when I can even get in touch with anybody).

Neighbor went with the other "name brand" company and his still looks like it was done yesterday. We agree that I got ripped off.

VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Great Paint Job. We heard about Permacoat from a friend who had their house in uptown New Orleans painted by them. It looked great after 10 years and surviving Hurricane Katrina. Permacoat then painted our son's house in Lakeview a couple of years ago and did a great job. When we purchased our home near city park we had Permacoat paint ours as well. The colors were exactly what we wanted and they also did the repairs we needed. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to have their house painted.

Terrible. I was very happy for the first year and then permacoat started to peel bubble and fall apart. Rusty nails are now appearing and it looks a mess. The contractor disappeared.

Do Not Be Fooled By These Crooks. Permacoat is a fraud! These crooks will tell you anything to get your money. The product they sell is comparible to any low grade paint you can purchase for $10 a gallon, it is JUNK and will bubble & blister. Anyone can purchase ceramic additive or ceramic paint online. They hire the cheapest labor they can find (english speaking or not) so they can pocket your money. The word quality is not in their vocabulary. The word greed is. Beware of these CON MEN.

The positive reviews are written by the owner of Permacoat. Notice "allot" is spelled the same, makes the same points and is structured exactly the same. Free advertising. Dave, it is spelled a lot, 2 words. Also note they use the name uptown something and saints something..profiling. They bash their like compitition by name in a review they wrote. They pocket over 60% of the money you spend on your paint job and never lift a brush except to show you a color sample.

PERMACOAT - GREAT GUYS TO WORK WITH - DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. Permacoat recently painted our house in uptown New Orleans and they did a great job. They worked with us on every aspect of the job. They were able to repair the bad wood on one side of the house and also glazed our windows. They even repaired our bad shutters and got two new shutters made for us. Both of the gentlemen were very helpful and actually put us in contact with a color coordinator to help us pick out the colors for our house. They actually put allot of color samples on the house to help us with our decision. The job is beyond what we expected, our house is beautiful. If you are looking for a great local company, we highly recommend Permacoat.

PERMACOAT DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. We just had our house painted by Permacoat and it looks fantastic. They did excellent work and paint is something else - it has ceramics in it and it is very flexible with a 25 yr warranty. They had a local color coordinator work with us and matched the colors we wanted perfectly. They worked with us every step of the way, they fixed our shutters and even glazed the windows - they had contacts with other local companies that could take care of almost any job we needed. They actually exceeded our expectations, which in this post Katrina world doesn't happen very often. After Katrina we had an out of state contractor do some horrible work and then disappeared - taking our money - so we went with Permacoat because they were the only local company that offers this type of paint. They had allot of local references with customers that we could actually speak with. We actually found another paint company named Permacoat that was from out of state - so beware. There was actually a paint company we saw that had Louisiana in their name but was from out of state also - after Katrina we really need to do our homework. We highly recommend Permacoat and added our name to the reference list.

EXCELENT SERVICE AND PRODUCT - FIXED OTHER CONTRACTORS MESS. Permacoat exceeded my expectations - I first had another company - Rhino Shield - paint my house - I had nothing but problems - a week later it was bubbling - all over my walls - they could not fix it - this goes on for months - I want my money back and find out the company I dealt with went out of business or at least had changed names and now won't honor their work - they are not even listed here for me to write a review - I contact Permacoat - they came out and corrected the problem - no more bubbles and fixed a few other problems I had not even seen - and they have a 25 year warranty - they have even came back twice to check on it without me calling - that is service. I should have went with the local company the first time. I highly recommend Permacoat.

Someone needs to come back and finish.......no return call.....paid to much before completion..... Lack of tools, and equipment, someone needs to come back and finish job.....
