In Short – This modest-sized, elegant restaurant's front windows give guests a view of Magazine Street. The interior walls are brick and wood, with sizeable mirrors on one side. Senior citizens to 20-somethings sample New Orleans dishes, such as the Creole shrimp remoulade appetizer. Other menu items include baby back pork ribs and braised duckling with currant. For the more casual diner, a burger and sausage sandwich is available on the lunch menu.
Editor's Tips
- What to Drink:
- They have an impressive wine list stocked with international and American varietals.
Quaint area of uptown, very relaxing, no hustle and bustle as you get in the Quarter

My daughter recommended this place and my family were quite surprised at the very quaint setting. The place has history and one feels very relaxed upon entering. The staff were very friendly, courteous and attended to our every need. The menu was nice, the food very good with very nice wine pairings to accompany the meal. Overall we enjoyed the meal, the setting and our total experience at this very nice facility.
Would like to return to experience more fully this establishment.
- Pros: Charming with the typical quaint uptown charm
- Cons: Uptown vs the Quarter.....Not really a Con
