I had surgery Friday June 15th and my sister thought it would be a great idea to surprise me with an edible arrangement she requested that the order be delivered sometime Friday afternoon or evening after someone was home from the hospital. We got home Friday from the hospital around 230pm I saw the tag on the counter and my husband told me that an edible arrangement gift basket was coming from my sister and I got excited!!! He said the guy missed us the tag read attempted delivery 1042am!! we were at the hospital of course but no big deal my husband called the Metairie Store and the young man on the other end advised "sir we will deliver first thing Sat morning between 9 or 10-12pm" my husband rearranged his plans to wait around the house Sat with our 2.5year old while I was on bed rest and leg pain if someone was to ring the bell I could not get the door! 12 pm the 1pm rolled around no basket, my husband calls back lady voice "sir we can’t promise a time" my husband tells the woman well someone from your store told us it would be delivered first thing in the morning. The voice on the other end with NO COMPASSION her name Sheila btw! said sir we don’t give times she told us they can deliver from anytime from 9am to 7pm at this point WE ARE FURIOUS! They expected us to wait in our home all day on a SATURDAY for a fruit basket! no one couldn’t atleast call the driver to ask where we were on the list and considering they didn’t deliver to us Friday because no one was home at 1045am after my sister told them NO one would be home. You would have thought we would have been the first on the list Sat morning what a big disappointment!! Well after waiting and waiting and having that conversation with the manager we had given up hope it’s about 4pm we asked to please just cancel the order!! My husband knew he had to leave the house again and I couldn’t walk and we didn’t want to waste my sister’s money but we had no choice!! Husband left and sure enough they attempted delivery at 530pm SAT June 16th after the basket was made early Friday morning or even thur night another bad thought. I mean really they expected us to wait in our home from 9-6pm what a bad business practice and no compassion I feel bad my sister WASTED 70 bucks!!! on trying to do a nice gesture in my time of need. At the end of the day these baskets are suppose to make people feel happy to receive them not SAD and angry from dealing with the customer service and the manager of this store is just awful!!! She is ruining the EDIBLE ARRANGEMENT BRAND for sure!!! Will never use them and its sad because I know some of the other stores that are not like that we even know a franchisee and he was really disappointed to hear our story I asked him to never treat his customers the way we were treated down here in New Orleans!
Horrible Customer Service, store manager Sheila. – I order an arrangement for Mother's Day for my wife. Asked that it be delivered to her job at New Orleans International Airport on today. Left in the notes section where she works and even gave the direct number for her department, that is 24-7 operation, "Communications". The driver lied and said he called that number and no one answered. That's like calling 911 and no one answers. So they returned it to the store. After I called the store and spoke with the infamous "Sheila" she explained that it can't be delivered today and it would be delivered tomorrow. The problem is, my wife does not work tomorrow nor Tuesday and we don't live in the city where the store is. After expressing this that bitch Sheila said there's no other option and hung up the phone on me. I hope this store burns to the ground.
Edible Arrangements Bad Customer Service/Delivery – We ordered an arrangement on 9/01/11. The website stated same day delivery and we really needed this delivered to our really good client that was having a bad day. About an hour after ordering I received a call from, Shelia in your Metairie store, stating that the driver was running behind schedule due to the bad weather and they couldn't deliver it that day. We weren't happy, but due to the bad weather we agreed that it would be delivered first thing 9/2/11. The driver didn't attempt to make the delivery until after 4:00 9/2/11. This was a Friday before a holiday weekend and they were closed. He was supposed to go there first. What really gets us mad is that we called Friday evening to cancel the order because delivery the following week was unacceptable, Sheila told us no she can't cancel the order.
Called back on 9/6/11 to see if we could resolve this. Courtney answered the phone and would NOT let me speak. Every time I tried to talk, she would talk over me.

Horrible Customer Service – Fruit was beautiful, but customer service in this store is so condescending and arrogant. They skimped in their basket and left out fruit. Let me repeat, THEY LEFT OUT FRUIT. Seriously. When I called to complain, I was told that it was not their problem anymore. They attempted to fix with a redelivery, but it never arrived. I have filed complaints with my credit card company and the BBB. If they had better customer service, things would be ok. But they were so rude on the phone!!! Call another store or order from a different company all together. Otherwise, avoid this Metairie store at all costs!! Not worth the effort.
Poor Customer is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!! – I placed an online order for delivery June 16, 2011 at the Metairie location. An hour after my order was placed I was contacted by a store associate named Amy who informed me my order could not be delivered due the amount of orders they had, for the Father's Day Weekend. Amy stated they could however delivery the order on Saturday and I said that was fine. Saturday morning I tracked my status online and it stated delivered so I continued on with my day only to get a phone call once again from Amy asking to speak with the person the package was for. I told her I sent him the package and then she continues to state that he would have to pick the arrangement up because that is what I told her on yesterday. I was livid, she and I had no such conversation, and now they were refusing to deliver or refund me for the order. Amy told me God bless and hungup in my face! I immediately called back and asked to speak with a manager and she pretended to be the manager Shelia White. Amy continued to talk over me in a very rude and unprofessional matter, and finally placed me on hold. I was on hold for about 5 minutes when another mature voice Shelia White returned to phone stating she would refund me the delivery charge but someone would have to pick it up. There was no apology, no empathy, no resolution! I have never dealt with a more unprofessional group of people. I normally have pleasent experiences with Edible Arrangements in other cities but this have put a sour taste in my mouth, and unfortunately I will not being doing anymore business with you all. Terrible Experience!
Where is the Customer Service? – I will NEVER order from this store location again. Not only was the customer service horrible the owner lied to me and then hung up in my face. She told me the owners were in and out and could not speak regarding a problem with my $70 order. When I called back to leave my number for the owner to call me when he/she returned the person on the phone said she was actually the owner and she was unwilling to speak to me about the issue. My order is sitting in the cooler at her establishment I asked them to cancel the transaction she told me she would not . My bank will now handle this.
This is horrible business practice. I love Edible Arrangements the fruit is always fresh and sweet but I will never use this West Esplanade location...EVER!
A Very Bad Experience! – I had a very bad experience at the west esplanade Ave location. I called to order a delivery for valentine's day and was put on hold for so long. When I called my friend to see if she received her gift2 days after it was supposed to have been delivered, she never did receive it. They refused to communicate with me about not delivering on time and the owner was very rude and even hung up the phone on me while still talking and refused to refund me back my money. Do not order from this location. They deserved to have their business closed down!
