This vehicle and pedestrian ferry operates from 6am to midnight daily. Bring a car for a dollar or walk aboard for free. The half-hour round trip affords dramatic views of the city and close encounters with the river's shipping industry. The batture area (between leveee and river) is full of pelicans, cormorants, egrets, hawks, owls and gulls.
