I have been bringing my pet to the Pet Care Center for 15 years! It's been great. I would never bring any of my furry friends to another facility. Yes they do have several doctors. All I do is ask for an appointment with the one who takes care of my Frankie.....thats it! I get an appointment with that doctor for that week. The staff, kennel help and Dr.'s are professional and courteous. I would never trust the health of my pets to anyone else..

I just moved out to Metairie with my family and our very old arthritic Lab. I was so concerned about finding a new vet who would be as understanding and kind as our old vet in Mississippi. I called to make an appointment at Pet Care Center and scheduled with Dr Erica. At first I was hesitant because I have had men for vets before. I was quickly put at ease. She was so helpful, my dog loved her and she even had some new options for his arthritis, and he is feeling better than ever. The place is beautiful and the staff is nice. I also thought it was priced reasonable for the city.

When I picked up my dogs, they were in a little tiny pen, not the condo I payed for. They did not let the dogs have their bedding and they were exhausted from shivering and dehydrated. They did not follow feeding instructions, one dog went to the vet as a result. They had a lead on the dog, even after telling them in writing that the dog has a collapsible trachea. The place smells like old urine and dishes were stacked up in the sinks. Dogs in the pound get better care.

I recently had issues with this establishment because of their carelessness. This is my first pet so I don't know much about dogs except for what I read on the internet. They completely forgot to give my dog his booster shot when he turned 1 year old. They also did not offer to take care of the charges after we inquired and went there for a doctor's visit. This is very unprofessional, don't they look at the patient (animal) chart to determine what is needed for each visit. For example, they are that careless/lazy that they cannot look at the patient history to see what vacinations are needed? Also, each time you go there your pet gets a different doctor unless you make a request. This is no way to run a Pet Care Center. Very poor quality. This shows their lack of knowledge and they don't really care about the animals!!!!!

Impressed!. My husband and I took our 1 year old, Remy, to Pet Care Center this past weekend for an emergency visit. We were playing fetch with our boy when he stepped on a piece of glass. The glass apparently went into a vein which caused uncontrollable bleeding.

The minute we walked in the center, we were greeted by the friendly staff. We saw Dr. Florence who was knowledgeable and extremely caring towards our family. She brought Remy back to surgery shortly after we left. We were impressed when we received a phone call by her later that night letting us know our boy was doing well.

When we arrived back the next day, we were able to observe the place a little better. Once again, we were impressed by the friendly staff and also the cleanliness of the center. The canvas dog paintings on the wall and bone-shaped benches gave the center plenty of character, which we adored!

Great service, great doctor and staff! Thanks Dr. Florence for helping our boy! We hope to visit soon for services other than an emergency.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!. I BRING ALL OF MY DOGS HERE. ABOUT A YEAR AGO, 1 OF MY 4 DOGS WAS BOARDED AT PET CARE CENTER BECAUSE HE WAS ACTING STRANGE BEFORE I LEFT TOWN ON VACATION. UNFORTUNATELY THINGS GOT PROGRESSIVELY WORSE AND MY DOG HAD TO BE PUT TO SLEEP WHILE I WAS OUT OF TOWN. DURING THAT TIME, ALL OF THE DOCTORS UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF DR. STEVE, WERE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEGEABLE. THEY ALL TOOK THE TIME OUT OF THEIR BUSY SCHEDULES TO ACCEPT MY PHONE CALLS BECAUSE THEY KNEW I WAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY. WHILE IT WAS NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE TO LOSE A BELOVED PET, THE STAFF AT PET CARE CENTER WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY AND HELPED ME THROUGH A MOST DIFFICULT TIME. I WILL ALWAYS TRUST MY PETS WITH SUCH A LOVING AND COMPASSIONATE GROUP OF PEOPLE.

thank you for takin care of daidy. I just brought my english bulldog there....i have never been there, it was an emergency visit. The staff was really kind and the service was very fast. The Vet there was really compassionate and i really felt good there knowing she was in good care. I have been to many emergency clinics with my previous dog(bassot) and Pet care was 1/2 the price and I saw the differnce and results immediatly.

I love this place - best vets in town!. Dr. Steve and his staff are so gentle and caring with my dogs. They don't need care often but he always remembers and loves on them. New facility is beautiful. They will always fit you in if there is an emergency. The doctors really know what they're doing. They saved my 2 dogs lives after a rat poison encounter and were so compassionate several years ago when my aged poodle had to be euthanized. I can't say enough about this place. If Pet Care Center can't satisfy you, you can't be satisfied!

Wonderful experience. I just moved to Metairie and needed to find a new vet. I loved my vet in Dallas, and did not think I could find one here I liked as much. I went to Pet Care Center today on the referral of a co-worker. It was wonderful. Lovely place, lovely people! I have found my new spot.

Compasionate care. Pet Care Center gave me 9 extra months with my lab than I thought I would have when I first brought her in. Dr. Florence was great. She was very thorough in her diagnostics and told me that what I thought a certain euthanasia could be managed and treated and that my baby could be kept comfortable. Dr. Florence and the staff of Pet Care Center took great care of my little girl through her 9 months of therapy. Every one knew who she was when she walked in the door and she was not at all shaken when I left her for the day for treatment. I had a great experience with Pet Care Center and with Dr. Florence.
