Excellent service, relaxing atmosphere and great service!. Good service is hard to find, as of lately. I was pleasantly surprized by the wonderful service I received during my first visit to Palmetto's. I especially enjoy their turtle soup, with sherry. It is very relaxing to sit outside on their open deck and chat with a friend and also a romantic place to go during the evening with your spouse. They serve an excellent martini and bloody mary also.

Great Atmosphere. This restaurant is my favorite place to go eat. Their menu could use more items but the items on it were to die for. The atmosphere is a warm Cajun look that has developed over the years they have been in service. The steak and sides that it came with are extremely well cooked. I have been going there for years and never once complained about there service. The waitresses and waiters are extremely professional and have great knowledge of the menu. The deserts are all homemade and wonderful. i am a great fan of the cheese cake with raspberry reduction sauce. The bands that play there on the weekends are great to here. I recommend this restaurant to any one who wants to have a great time.

Overpriced. The ambience was nice. Palmettos is a converted barn with a an outside patio overlooking the bayou (although I didn't get to see it.) The entertainment was fabulous The menu is somewhat limited which is perfectly fine if a restaurant serves outstanding food, however that was not the case at Palmettos. I had the red fish with absolutely NO flavor, the baby green beans were smothered in olive oil and the presentation was sprinkled parsley. My boyfriend had crawfish ettoufette which was also very bland. Most of the patrons were extremely pretentious and the service was sub standard. I still cannot believe I paid what I did to eat here. I was very disappointed but I have to give an average rating because the entertainment was so enjoyable.
