Terrible Service - Stay Away!.
I ordered a pair of expensive shoes. The store accepted my payment and never shipped the shoes. After a few weeks, I called to see where the shoes were. They said they actually didn't have them, but were waiting for them to be returned. Several more weeks went by, no word from the store. Money paid - no shoes. I called again and they said they shoes were returned and had been damaged. They then asked if I would accept the shoes at half price and I said yes. They refunded half my money and said they would ship the shoes that day.
Two weeks went by and still no shoes. I called three to four times, left messages and never got a response.
Finally got someone on the phone who said the owner had sent the shoes out for repair and had decided not to send them to me because they still didn't look good. She said my money had been refunded, but I have yet to get a refund.
Either this store is a front for something else or they are nothing short of idiots! I will never shop from them again as they are not trust worthy and the service is deplorable.
Owner is a Criminal. These people are nothing short of criminals. They make a small order and either don't pay the shipping terms or go as far as cancelling a COD check. It's shame they aren't put in prison. If karma doesn't get these people first, I implore anyone reading this to avoid shopping at this store.
Stole goods from small brand!. This store stole over $5K of product from us! What's even worse they are selling it at 100% profit. What they do is refuse to sign a credit application and request to ship COD. So when you send COD they send you a bad check! Agree with the other posts how once they receive your product, they stop returning phone calls or e-mails, and give you the run around. I can't believe people this unethical are in business. People shopping there should just take the stuff for free since Shoefty hasn't paid for it themselves. Awful!
thieves. In short, this business steals from its designers. They are entirely friendly and communicative until they have the merchandise, at which point they stop returning all emails and phone calls. They take advantage of small labels who they know have no recourse. (Who can afford to hire an out-of-state lawyer for a $500 invoice?) I just wish I had read the previous Citysearch review that said this very thing before shipping to them. No one should knowingly support this operation. They are thieves.
Love Shoefty!.
pieces I buy at Shoefty have been special & unique & I am able to wear them casually or dressy. & I find I keep reaching for these pieces year after year—worth the investment.
Love Betsy, Sara & Stephen!
amazing customer service a great owner.
I love this store and want to visit all the time. peoples negative comments are often written by ex-employies or just jealous people. I wish shoefty the best.
thanks
for being here
Liars!!! Liars!! Liars!!. Carries high end brands but refuses to pay those high end apparel companies any money!!! Do not buy as they do not pay the companies their money. Owner and staff are always lying to the collections department.
Little overpiriced but GREAT SELECTION. I read all of the reviews, and they probably have changed staff. The Girl that helped me out was nice and she was even sincere with me on a top that did not looked to good. Shoefty has a great selection of high end designers and its a store that would defenitely get you out of your friday night dont know what to wear problem. No parking true but magazine st is a nice street to walk on. I DO RECOMEND SHOEFTY
Way overpriced and very rude staff!!!.
The shoe selection, kind of ugly, very limited, and completely overpriced. The clothing, seasons old and very overpriced as well. The staff, self important and rude. The clientele, old rich uptown women with money to waste shopping for their spoiled daughters. The parking, nonexistent
Overall experience= stick to internet shopping!!
AVOID SHOEFTY.
Is it really any wonder the sales staff are rude when the owner is the worst of all?
I was there recently (and really I should not have gone because I too know several designers that have never been paid by them) and their bad reputation is reflected in their lack of interesting lines.
They must need to change their suppliers all the time because as soon as I become a fan of a particular designer I don't see them there again the next season - this is what happens when the owners don't pay.
And the review from 'styleguy01" is so obviously written by the staff or owner.
