My recent cut with Amy Hill at Canal Place was great......she took the time to ask exactly what I wanted, gave her input (since she is the pro), and gave me a great style.......great care was taken to make sure that i was comfortable and not rushed..........the Canal Place salon is no longer the best kept secret in the CBD of New Orleans!

I've been going to the Paris Parker Salon on Prytania for several years, and it really is a mixed bag. Generally the staff have not been friendly. I recently had a terrible hair cut. I got the sense that my stylist was rushing me out the door (I may have been impinging on her lunch break). What's worse, she was one of the higher priced stylists! I've had way better, more attentive cuts from some of the lower priced staff. So it's really unpredictable. Overall, mediocre service, overpriced and variable quality. As of today I breaking up with Paris Parker and going elsewhere to have my bad haircut fixed.
Pros: clean, easy to get appointments
Cons: variable quality, overpriced
