My new favorite in New Orleans. I almost want to give this one star and say terrible things. I want to keep the secret to myself. This restaurant is amazing. It's the sort of place where the Chef recommends which order to eat the food on your plate. It's food as an art form (and they know what they're doing). Everything is presented beautifully, and tastes even better. We tried the trio of Louisiana oysters, the citrus salad with blue crab, the duck five ways, and the beef tenderloin. All incredible. Visitors to New Orleans, you must try Stella!

Incredible food, impressive staff. We went here on our first night in New Orleans, and as we left our only worry was that we'd ruined ourselves for the rest of the vacation by setting the bar so high. The food was incredible! I had the pan seared scallops and jumbo gulf shrimp (the sauce was amazing), which was superb, but my husband had the sake and miso glazed seabass over udon noodles which is still taking first place as the best meal he had in New Orleans. And I must say, it's always nice to go to a place where the food is amazing and the staff is equally impressive....and this is that place. Not one ounce of snobbery - everyone had the perfect mixture of knowledge, refinement and affability. After our meal we asked the waiter for suggestions on the best way home, and as the chef lived nearby he himself came out to chat with us give us recommendations. Wow. Stella!, Brigtsen's and Restaurant August are definitely my top three restaurants in the city.

Stella! is reason enough to fly to New Orleans!. Oh, Stella! how I miss thee! I first discovered Stella! by accident, after my group of 12 could not get reservation at our first 2 choices. We were so thankful our concierge sent us to Stella! We all agreed this is THE BEST restaurant we have ever eaten at in New Orleans (and less expensive than any of the over-hyped places!). The food is very creative and amazing, with flavors from all over the worldon a single plate! The service is impeccable, with very knowlegeable and helpful waitstaff. Everytime I go back to New Orleans, Stella! is my first stop after checking into the hotel.

Fabulous. A little out of the way but what a find!! We found this place on a suggestion of a friend and with a party of 3 showed up unnaounced and sat right down and had a fabulous meal. Th wine list is a bit pricey, but the food, the service adn the presentation were over the top. A must visit (cozy and comfortable) in NO.

Delicious!. Our experiences at Stella! have always been absolutely delightful!!! It is currently my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. The food is scrumptious; the atmosphere is very elegant and romantic; and the staff is very professional and accommodating.

Many wonderful, mouth-watering choices on the menu, as well as on the wine list. I can't say enough about the food - it was truly some of the best food I've ever eaten! And the ambiance makes for a nice setting for a romantic evening for two, or a perfect setting for a night out with a group of friends. It is utterly delectable!!

One of best restaurants in NO. In the Quarter but a bit off the beaten path, Stella! is well worth seeking out. One of the best meals I've ever had in NO - and that's sayings something.

I was concerned at first when I saw how young our waiter was, but he couldn't have been any better. The service was thoroughly professional without being stuffy. The wine list was outstanding with several reasonable choices. As to the food - my oh my! Words don't do justice to the food. At my table of seven, every person was happy with their meal from start to finish. With this little group of gourmands, that never happens.

Make no mistake, Stella is pricey, but for the dining experience we had, it was a bargain. This last visit moved it to the top of my list of NO restaurants.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! ! !. STELLA! Is my absolute favorite restaurant in New Orleans. The food dances in your mouth, the chef is a master. Perfect portions sizes so you aren't too full to go out on the town after dinner. Great service & nice atmosphere.
