a 2" long white hair in the dishe of crawfish ravioli. I was at the cheescake bistro on Monday 12/21/09 with my 3 sons. We ordered 4 dishes. one of the dishes call "crawfish ravioli". My son find a 2" long white hair inside his dishe. I called the waitress and show her the hair. The waitress says we almost finished the dishes, otherwise she can change one for us. My son says "Its ok just a hair." The waitress said she will tell the manager about this. After we finished the lunch and paid the bill the manager never showed up to apolggize.
Never again..
A good friend and I went out to Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro for a girls' night out. We arrived a little after 7pm on a Saturday night and were informed the wait would be 30 minutes. After enjoying fantastic drinks at the bar, we were seated around 8. Everything went downhill after that.
Our server dropped off the menus, and when we told him we needed just a few more minutes, he didn't come back for another twenty. We had nothing to drink the entire time. We finally ordered food around 8:30, a blackened chicken sandwich and a chicken wrap. Two very easy, quickly prepared dishes. No appetizers. ONE HOUR LATER, the server finally realizes we still have not received our food. He sends the manager over, who delivers our food in ten minutes with the promise of free dessert. By that time, we only wanted to eat and leave. Our night was ruined. We didn't get out of there until 10:00. It was terrible. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
terrible service. I had a company party and we where sat quickly. That was it. We were there for 30 minutes and they ran out of beer. Then when we ordered food 30 minutes later the waitress came back outand said they didnt have certain things on the menu. We had a big crowd. It was the worst resturant I have ever been to. I would not ever go back.
Best French Toast in the Universe. We had a group of 15 and went to Copeland's on a Sunday morning (around 10am) without a reservation. The hostess and waiters were friendly, and the service was fast. I had the Bistro French Toast and it was THE BEST FRENCH TOAST I HAVE EVER HAD. Ever. I highly recommend both the restaurant and the toast. :)
Go Somewhere Else!. This used to be a great place to eat and drink, but not anymore. I went with my girlfriend and her parents the other night and we were very disappointed. I had heard this place went downhill, but having enjoyed nights there before I did not believe it. I believe it now, the food was dry and bland and the service was absolutely horrible. Avoid at all cost.
Save Yourself a Headache and a hungry stomach... Do Not go to the Cheesecake Bistro!.
My review is pretty similar to the others here: Horrible service!
I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. Bad idea. The hostess was rude from the minute we walked in the door. We were seated at one of the tiny tables. This would have been okay if we were not neglected. After I flagged down a waiter, we got an appetizer order in. 20 minutes later they brought us the wrong appetizer! We finally got the crab cakes, which were really pretty good.
Had our food been brought out with in a reasonable time following our appetizer, I probably would not be on City Search writing this negative review. However, after waiting over an hour, we were pretty frustrated. I was sitting pretty close to the kitchen and could see at least 10-15 ready meals just sitting at the counter. Was one of them ours? I asked and was told by the informative waiter that they were real busy tonight and our food would be out in a minute. Really? How come the tables on either side of us were empty?! After another 15-20 minutes (it was almost 9 o'clock on a random Tuesday night at this point), we finally gave up and went home hungry.
Does this restaurant really deserve as low as a rating as I gave it? Probably not. But it was at an 8.9, which is ridiculous, so I wanted to average it out a little bit. I would really give it about a 2. Would I have been satisfied if the staff had at least recognized that there service was pathetic? Maybe. But in the mean time, I would not recommend the establishment to anyone nor will I be returning ever.
HORRIBLE service. We were first seated at a table that a curtain literally hung in one of the chairs. After we asked to move, the host acted like she was doing us a favor by letting us move to a table that was literally 1 ft by 2 ft and practically in the lap of the two couples on either side. And it only got worse. We were practically ignored the entire time. We ordered bread and it came cold. The appetizer crab cakes were good...but we were so hungry after the long wait for them, that they had better have been. Then we waited for an hour and our food NEVER came. We finally put the money down for the appetizer and left at close to 9:00 pm after we were seated at close to 7:15. We asked about our food, and the waiter just said they were swamped, when the restaurant didn't really look that crowded and people were being seated immediately. AWFUL.
hope your not hungry. horrible service. brought apps with food. Food took 45 mins. and came out cold! Dont expect help from the manager, The hair dye has bleached the brains right out of that one. Fought with us the whole time. Dont waist your time or money. Dont eat here.
Editorial Review. Casual dining mingles with an extensive menu of contemporary Creole fare, including seafood, chicken, pasta and lots of cheescake.
