Great burgers and onion rings, open late. Cheeseburger and onion rings were so good, 5 of us enjoyed our meal before our uncomplaining friend received his half-cooked omelet. Our quiet friend asked for his omelet a bit more cooked, with a little more ham. The cook held his gaze, dumped his plate, and started all over without one word.

Our local friends were apologetic, we were surprised (he never complained while watching the rest of us eat).

Moral of the story: get what your friends order if you want to eat with them.

We recommend the cheeseburger and onion rings.

Tip: open late.

Inexpensive, good diner food. The wait staff was friendly and entertaining. Great place for families on a budget or with picky eaters. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere.

The 60's are alive and well. There was a line (moves quickly) and like all tourists we stood in line not knowing what to expect. We inched toward the doorway and we were finally brought inside, waiting for a spot to open at the counter. The serving area consists of two connected semi-circle counters with a total of approximately 28 seats. Behind each counter section are energetic, personable...bring a smile to your face waiters that are one-half of the dining experience. The grilled burgers with fixins', cheese fries with chili, milk shakes and cokes are gobbled up by the regulars and tourists alike. I'm told that scenes from several movies have ben shot here...no suprise this place has a charm that transcends time.
