Wonderful evening!. We attended the CHS class of 1991 reunion In October 2011. The food was wonderful. The braised beef, beef wellington appitezers, fried eggplant, even the meatballs were perfect. I couldn't stop eating! When the food would run out the staff would immediately refill the trays with either more of the same or a new, equally as mouth-watering an item.

The bar line moved quickly. No issues. The young bartender was efficient and made my drinks perfect. He remembered me each time I returned to the bar and began making my drink as if I visisted the establishment on a regular basis.

Do not hesitate to book this place. We had a great experience and I did not hear anybody complain about anything. The owner was floating around and mingling with the guests. Very nice gentleman.

Thank you Abita Quail Farm for making this reunion a first class event.

UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER. My daughter's wedding was in July. Two weeks before her date we went to finalize everything. This is where it all started. We were told we had to write a separate check for the gratuity and were told how much other customer usually give. This was the first we had heard of this. We assumed the gratuity was in the price per head and I always thought gratuity was given on services rendered. The best is after giving him a check for gratuity he had a TIP JAR on the bar the night of the reception. If I paid for gratuity why was that there, but to nickle and dime the guest! TALK ABOUT DOUBLE DIPPING!!!!!! After we finalized everything we were looking around to see if we wanted to take the formals pictures there. I asked if he had any other rooms we could use for photos. He said no..then asked for my signed contract and went and added that we could only take photos in the Cypress Room. How sneaky is that!! Was very rude and ugly with my daughter, sister-in-law and myself when asking when we could come to decorate and when we could bring the table arrangements. We had to then listen to what time he and his staff works to at night. That we couldn't come early. I don't care what time he goes to bed. All we wanted was a time! When decorating the day before the AC wasn't on yet. You can only imagine how hot it was in there. Complained that the groomsmen were spilling beer on the floor. Was rude to the the baker when she was delivering the cake. The list goes on guest had to walk to and from their car in the dark through the grass couldn't see a thing. There were no lights at all. What a safety hazard. There was only 1 bar tender till my husband complained. The DJ was asked to stop playing a half hour early because the guest were drunk. Guest complained the staff was rude. Would not recommend this place at ALL!!!

Ruined my wedding. We had our wedding at this place in July. The guy that owns it was rudest person I have ever met. It was so hot inside that our wedding cake melted and we had to cut it early so it would not fall. Food was bad hardly eatable. There was also hidden cost after the wedding was over that he did not tell us about. While we were giving our vows he was having the grass cut right outside the window so no one could even listen to us. Rehearsal he would not turn on the air and when we asked he threatened to call the police. It was one thing after another never go to this place. The preacher that married us will no longer do weddings here after ours.

Fabulous Wedding Venue. I was married at the Abita Quail Farm on 12/5/09 and must say that I was unbelieveably impressed. From the friendliness and professionalism of the staff to the FABULOUS food, I wouldn't have wanted to be married anywhere else. As a bride, my day was relaxed and comfortable. Everything went so smoothly that I didn't even think about the production that went on "behind the scenes". Every guest at my wedding RAVED about how fantastic the Quail Farm was as a venue. The gorgeous atmosphere, the cleanliness of the buildings, the beautiful landscaping...what more could you ask for (even the temperature was perfect)??? Every picture was fantastic because there was a different scene in every shot. If you are even considering choosing the Abita Quail Farm as your venue, please do so. This was a memory that will last a lifetime. We are so happy that the Quail Farm came HIGHLY reccomended.

Great Location for a Wedding. The quail farm is in a very picturesque location. There is a pond and peacocks to add the the scenery. There is a large coverred patio with tables and since the weather happened to be marvelous on the day of the wedding, the outdoor spaces were wonderful. The food was sooo delicious. the variety of choices was awesome. The meats were done to juicy perfection. The crepe table was a hit. The whole ambience of the wedding party presentation and the lighting of the roast was so unique and memorable. The service was impeccable. We have received rave reviews from our guests and are very happy with our choice.

Wonderful Reception. The Abita Quail Farm was the perfect location for our recent Board of Directors Meeting. The Music Room was beautiful & perfect for our group.

The sitdown dinner was exquisite. The couchon du lait & the beef tenderloin was especially delectable.

The stringed orchestra enertainment was a wonderful surprise that the owners provided at no charge.

The Abita Quail Farm grounds are a site to behold. Acres of lush landscape with plenty of Louisiana ambience.

I cannot say enough about our hosts Jane & John D'Hemecourt. They made the planning & execution of the event seamless & most memorable.

I would highly recommend this location for a large reception or a small dinner meeting.

It was a most memorable evening.

Thank you

Great Place. Should you be looking for someplace to hold an event on the Northshore, I would like to recommend the Quail Farm. I have had many luncheons there for several different organizations, and everyone ravesabout the beautiful surroundings, delicious food and wonderful staff. The management is very professional and accomodating. I have already scheduled a Holiday event for December, so make your plans early. I would highly recommend the Abita Quail Farm to everyone.
