Highly recommend CCG. Stayed here in Nov. 2004. Location is great as it is 2 blocks to all the music clubs and restaurants on Frenchmen St. Only 3 blocks to the French Quarter on the Esplanade side. Much quieter than Canal Street. It is near Elysian Fields and Chartres St. in the Faubourg Marigny and is a quiet residential neighborhood. Only 3 blocks to the riverfront streetcar. The rooms/bathrooms are spacious and it is very well maintained and clean. The backyard is very charming with several places to sit and there is a hot tub. Very secure and private. Room rate includes all fees (parking and taxes). A great value for the location. Matt and Lynn are very personable and knowledgeable about the city. The common area has coffee and continental breakfast anytime you are ready. There are many books and videos about New Orleans. Our room had a VCR and TV.
