Can't get any better than this

The French Quarter Bar is a great first or any date place. The entertainment is fantastic, if you don't like your date you can always dream about Jeremy Davenport. And, the sometimes loud music helps to break the ice on an awkard, occasionally silent date. The food is fantastic, the drink specialities are delicious and the service is impeccable.
- Pros: excellent service, entertainment, great food
Ritzy night on the town
by boutrie at Citysearch
It's all about top notch entertainment, good strong drinks, and a superior and reasonable bar menu. Don't let the uncreative name fool you - the FQB is a MUST stop for New Orleans visitors and locals alike. Put on your dancing shoes, wring out your liver, and y'all come on down, ya hear? I'm sure I'll see you there.
- Pros: always a fun crowd, specialty martinis
Worth the Price for Ingrid Lucia
by mfrost at Citysearch
This elegant bar features an amazing number of New Orleans talented musicians. My favorite is Ingrid Lucia on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. My husband I try to catch her at least once a month, budget allowing.
The drinks are top-shelf. Great bar tenders. Almost always great service. It is inside the Ritz-Carlton, so you have to expect good service. Sometimes you get great service. Although New Orleans service is usually NOT what people rave about, the music and romance of the French Quarter bar make it a perfectly romantic getaway before, after or as you start your evening on the town. Tuesday or Wednesdays starting at 7:30. You'll be happy you went.
- Pros: great drinks, great live music, romantic setting
- Cons: bit expensive, sometimes slow servic
