In Short – The W does Euro-funk in New Orleans like no one else, and its swank eatery is just a natural extension. Everything from the lamp shades to the coffee caddies seem out of this world when compared with New Orleans' Old-World sensibilities. The chef's unique twist of traditional favorites keeps any foodie intrigued. The kitchen uses only the freshest of regional ingredients and adds a bit of saucy style to a city that always has something cooking. – –

The food was good, but after returning home, I found I had been overcharged on my bill. It has been almost two weeks and after speaking to Edwin (the manager), no-one has returned my call with an apology and remedy to the overcharge. For an upscale restaurant, that is unacceptable.
- Pros: Very nice decor, food was very tasty
- Cons: bad customer service
Try the pink poodle dessert
by rrizzuto4
These guys take their food seriously, but with a sense of style and humor. Their pink poodle dessert is a real show-stopper. Best pomme frites since France. Service was very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Lobster Pie was also incredible.
- Pros: quiet dining room, great pomme frites, romantic
- Cons: in a hotel
