Cheap bottled and canned beers, cocktails, dartboards and a pool table are the trademarks of this bright yellow Uptown dive.
SHE'S BACK

Ms. Mae has reopened her bar, and once again one of the best dive bars in the country is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. When I lived there (New Orleans, that is) one fun source of entertainment was to watch a first-timer order a couple of drinks, and then watch their jaw drop in disbelief at finding out how low the prices are. They don't offer food, except for potato chips. There is basically only one house rule. DON'T tick off Ms Mae!
Flames will not keep the Club down!

Note to tourons: Ms. Mae's, aka The Club, is currently closed because of a devilish fire from the minions of hell. It is an absolute shame. One of the best all-time dive bars in NOLA. Quite possibly the most reasonably priced drinks in town. Hopefully it will reopen soon. For all the drunks looking for a substitute consider The Mayfair beside Superior Grill or The Saint off of Magazine St.
- Pros: Ten dollars will get you crunked
- Cons: Your seat smells like a wet dog
Perfect Dive Bar

Most good bars have pool, but only the best also feature a Tornado foosball table. Slots and bowling video games are cool too. I got a beer and a White Russian for $4, which beat the heck out of the $8 I spent down the street. I will be making this place a regular hangout.
