Great location. It was a great location for both stadium and Bourbon Street. We were close enough to walk to everything, but yet away enough for quiet nights. I will definately stay there again on my next trip to New Orleans!
Good. The location is just right for the Mardi Gras crowd, the store within the hotel is reasonable and the breakfast is good.
Perfect. Location was good and the breakfast at the hotel was perfect. Staff was very friendly, the front desk informed us...
Amazing service. I am a salesman that travels at least 90% of the year, Upon my stay in New Orleans. I found a gem of a hotel named the O'Keefe Plaza Hotel. Upon talking to the staff and management I learned that the hotel was once a Sleep Inn Hotel. I have stayed in Sleep Inns before and have never got the great treatment that i received at this hotel. The General Manager Jay Vadhar was very friendly and assisted me personally with some requests that i had for parking arrangements for my trailer that contained all my products for work. He arranged security to look after my trailer over night, and didn't charge me anything additional. This type of personal treatment goes way beyond what any other hotel manager has done for me in over 18 years of sales. I will definetly stay at the O'Keefe Plaza again.
Professional. We were very, very pleased with this hotel and I am so glad we ended up staying there. The staff were wonderful, very professional and helpful.
Fine hotel. Good location and a fine hotel. Excellent service and the room wasn't that bad - nice shower room.
Pleasantly Suprised. Stayed at the Okeefe Plaza Hotel during Jazz Fest and was pleasantly surprised. I had booked my room late, and didn't have many hotel options; luckily, I found this hotel! Both the lobby and the room were clean, none of the funky odors people have complained about (even in a smoking room, it didn't reek of ashtray). Service was great during check in/out and the one time I had to get my keys reprogrammed. The walk to the Quarter was a quick one and a safe one at night. Parking was a little expensive ($35/night since it was a special event), but I was informed of the parking fees when I made my reservation. Never checked out the free breakfast; it ended at 9am, and I was never up that early.
Will gladly stay on any return. My husband and I traveled to NOLA for the super bowl parties on Bourbob st. Our choice of the O" keefe proved to be the perfect location. We were a three block walk to Bourbon St. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful, helping with directions and recommendations on restaurants. We will gladly stay at the O'Keefe on any return visit!
I'd stay here again.
After reading the reviews, I was worried about staying here. I shouldn't have been. There were no bedbugs, the towels and bedding were clean, and the room was quite spacious compared to other New Orleans hotels. I go to NOLA frequently and, while I stay in the plush hotels occasionally, I'm never in my room much so I usually look for location and value. This had both. Although it's in the CBD and not the quarter, I was going for the game and it was very convenient to the Dome (and it still wasn't a long walk to Canal St.!)
....! It had a fridge & microwave (rare in NOLA hotels!) and a decent bed. I'd stay again...
Great location. The location was GREAT - literally 2 blocks from Bourbon and close to everything you need. We walked EVERYWHERE
