Thrillusions at Harrahs Casino. Thrillusions is the current show at Harrahs. This show was an exciting highlight of my visit to New Orleans. I was spellbound by the magic of Philippart and Anja. Broadway caliber dancers and appearances by "almost" Tina Turner and Prince added to the fun. Thrillusions was thrilling. Philippart and Anja are unsurpassed in magic and showmanship. This show should not be missed. I recommend this show to everyone--big fun!!!!

The spectacle and fantasy of Las Vegas come to the foot of Canal Street.. Overview
The city's only land-based casino pulls out all the stops to provide a New Orleans-style experience with five themed areas reflecting the local culture, from the French Quarter and Garden District to Mardi Gras and jazz music, historic figures and gastronomic bliss--all under one roof. The gambling behemoth also nods to visitors with nothing to lose in the Court of the Mansion, a non-gaming area ambient of a swanky garden party with flowing champagne and a 200-seat buffet.

The Experience

The Jazz Court hosts live music and is anchored by a five-story faux oak tree. Mardi Gras Court, the casino's main gaming area, features three authentic Carnival floats. Smugglers Court pays a modern homage to legendary pirate Jean Lafitte with a boatload of lighting and sound effects. The Court of Good Fortune is Harrah's special place for the big spenders, including private spaces for invitation-only events and high-stakes play. Nearly 3,000 slot machines and 10 dozen table games provide an astounding stage for Lady Luck.

Great Blackjack!. Having been to Vegas maybe 30 times, I did not expect much from a New Orleans casino. However, I was pleasantly surprised- Harrah's was great. Crowded, lots of action, and very well run. This is the perfect place to end a night in the Quarter.
