Low-budget rarely tastes so good. Next time you're considering a fast-food value meal, take your cash and hunger to Taqueria -- king-sized burritos, up-sized flavors and big value. And both takeout and dining in offer a better experience than most drive-throughs. Taqueria is a better way to spend your little bit of money.

Better than Texas and Cal.. By far, the best Mexican food in the world, run by El Salvadorians. Roberto the owner greets regulars by name. Black beans and rice for close to nothing, phenomenal guacamole, flautas, and the best tacos al carbon (ask to add cheese if you want). Do yourself a favor and sample one of the combination platters or split one with a friend. No lengthy description needed. If you like Mexican food at all, this place is the BEST. One of my favorite places in New Orleans overall.
