Completely unwilling to make any substitutions. I attempted to substitute beans instead of meat, which is a cost benefit to them. The waitress replied they would make my taco without meat and I would have to pay the additional amount for a side of beans. Completely ridiculous and unfair to the customers.

New Orleans Mexican GO TO!!!!!!. This place is a favorite. Ask for the black sauce and always order chicken. The way they grill it is, oh, so DELICIOUS!!!

Serving some of the best tacos in town, this Uptown spot makes it easy to get great authentic (and cheap) Mexican.. In Short
Here you can watch Magazine Street passers-by through the window. Photos and murals of Central America line the walls. The open kitchen adds to the atmosphere as diners see, smell and hear their food being prepared. This local eatery specializes in authentic Mexican. That means pico de gallo not salsa for starters, soft-tortilla tacos topped with pico and cilantro, fish and tongue entrees and traditional arroz con leche (rice pudding) for dessert.

Not Authentic. This place was a huge disapointment. After seeing the reviews and seeing it on the "best of" list, I thought I would get something decent. The place is definitely not authentic Mexican food. I would honestly compare the food to microwave food that cost 10 bucks a plate. The place was just really crowded but the service was decent.

Not very good at all. This restaurant is over ated, The clients have never had Good Mexican food, The food was not that great, The service was terrible. We traveled to New Orleans just to eat there (based on the positive reviews. Needless to say we will not be back. $ 77.00 for a dismal dining experience.
