A hotel bar with upscale Creole dining and drinking.. In Short
Located on the ornate first floor of the sprawling Fairmont Hotel, this posh space (next to a similarly tony restaurant) is a magnet for well-dressed CBD and French Quarter professionals looking to feel sophisticated as they chat in the upscale surroundings and lean against the classy African walnut bar. You might run across power brokers conducting important business, drawn by the indelible sense of history (Huey Long used to hold court here), as well as tourists who recognize the bar from the Julia Roberts' movie, "The Pelican Brief."

Go somewhere else. I was there on a virtually empty night, with a group of people. The service was terrible, the food was cold, and the prices were sky high. Not a winning combination if you ask me. If you are going to pay that much for dinner, there are about a thousand other restaurants within a 1 mile radius that puts this one to shame. The first rating listed in this list with a "10" was probably written by the manager of the restaurant.
